So you may be wondering, who is this person?? Why is she randomly writing about meal prepping?? Well let me explain myself a little. My name is Allie and I’m 29 years old. I am originally from Utah but I currently live in Texas, which I love! I have been overweight my whole life, it has been a constant battle I have been fighting. I tried everything! Weight Watchers, Keto, Curves, you name it! I actually remember when I was a young teenager my grandma and I would go down to Curves and workout together. Nothing really helped, and I didn’t stick with anything! It wasn’t until recently that things changed.
I am now a happily married woman of about a year and a half. Me and my husband made a big move to Texas and after spending a few months here and both gaining quite a bit of weight we decided it was time to take control. So we both started working out together! I think having him as a buddy really helped me and made me realized how much better I felt when I did lose a little weight. Working out with him I lost about 30 pounds! Which is the most I have ever lost!! I went from a size 12 jeans to a size 4!! I felt confident and in control of my weight and my life. At this point my husband feel off the wagon and I was on my own…which is where the problems started. It has been a few months now and I have been on and off again with everything. And it doesn’t help that sometimes he offers me some of his pizza…
Now I have signed up for the Spartan Race and feel more than ready to start training for it!! One day I was thinking of different things I could do to encourage me and keep me going this time. I thought that writing down my thoughts, struggles, and successes would really help me. So here I am! Trying to plan another week of meal prepping (which you already know how much I hate it), and looking towards the future when I cross the finish line of the Spartan Race a new woman!
